Pom Pom

Pom Pom

Pom Pom is a free drop-in contemporary art space dedicated to engaging children (up to 12 years) and their families with exciting contemporary art skills and ideas.

Offering hands-on creative workshops delivered by leading arts practitioners, Pom Pom supports an art making process between children and their families and carers, while offering enchanting contemporary arts experiences.

Located in Davoren Park in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, young artists and their families are invited to collaborate with artists to make, create and play while exploring their personal capacities and potential.

Relaxed Hour

Relaxed Hour is a program run within the Pom Pom contemporary art space that is exclusively for neurodivergent children, children with sensory access needs and their families.

Taking place an hour before Pom Pom, Relaxed Hour offers hands-on creative workshops with leading artists so that young creators and their families can create, play and be inspired.

Designed to reduce anxiety and sensory stress, Relaxed Hour provides a quieter and less stimulating environment in which to engage with the Pom Pom program.

Make, create and play

"I have never seen my daughter so enthusiastic about attending an extracurricular activity. She has not stopped talking about Pom Pom since her first visit. The environment that the artists create is very supportive and accommodating to every child."
